More than 25 people got badly injured in deck collapse at Billings’ Briarwood Country Club this Saturday. Police had shut down the road and sealed it with its barriers for easy moving of emergency vehicles. This traumatic incident resulted in severe bone injuries, broken ribs, wounded heads and so on. Immediate medical attention was given to the people badly hurt, many of them were admitted to St. Vincent Healthcare’s Emergency Department.
Dr. Clint Seger, CEO of Billings Clinic said,
“We have multiple trauma surgeons, ER physicians and the ER team along with critical care staff on site receiving patients,”. He also said that the hospital received six patients, with others expected.
Police is still investigating the whole incident and finding out more information and the root cause of this happening.
