A kid and another person got hurt in a shooting near a Missouri high school on Saturday, as per North Kansas City Police. This happened less than a month after a big shooting at a Super Bowl celebration in the same area.

Cops told reporters on Saturday night that two victims were taken to a nearby hospital. At first, both were in bad shape, but later, the kid’s condition got better to serious but stable. The age of the second victim was not given, but they’re getting medical care in a local hospital.

Nobody’s been caught for this, and it’s not clear how many people shot. Cops are checking videos and talking to people who saw what happened.

The shooting happened after a game at North Kansas City High School, with gunshots heard outside the school. Deputies from Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, who were at the game, got there first and found one person hurt outside. The second victim’s location wasn’t shared by the police.

North Kansas City Schools said the shooting happened outside the building on the east side at the end of the game between North Kansas City High School and Staley High School. Everyone inside was told to stay inside while cops dealt with it.

People said they saw someone running from the scene near the entrance to the football field.

The district said in a statement that they don’t have more details but anyone involved has been contacted. They’re waiting for the police to finish the investigation.

This shooting is a big deal for the area, especially since there was another shooting at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebration last month that killed one person and hurt 22.

The police are working on this, and it’s a developing story.
