On Sunday, the US government asked insurance companies to send money to healthcare providers sooner because of a cyberattack that messed up how insurance works.

The attack really messed things up for Change Healthcare, a part of UnitedHealth Group that handles 15 billion healthcare transactions every year. CNN already said that because of this attack, pharmacies and hospitals all over the country can’t handle prescription bills.

The government wants UnitedHealth Group to make sure that healthcare providers don’t face money problems because of this. They’re telling them to send money faster and talk to the providers more often.
