A guy from Texas got caught for being involved in the case of a missing kid under 13 near Houston. The girl disappeared on February 22, and she was found safe after eight days. At first, the police thought she left on her own, but later they got new info suggesting she might have been trafficked. They mentioned a social media app called Tagged but didn’t explain how it related to their investigation.

The girl was found okay in Columbus, Texas, 73 miles away. She went to Texas Children’s Hospital for a check-up. Around 460,000 kids go missing in the US every year, according to the Department of Justice.

A guy named Sirterryon Preston, 27, from Houston, got in trouble with the Columbus Police regarding the missing kid. He tried to run but got caught and charged with evading. They took him to the Colorado County Detention Facility, and the FBI might add more charges after further checking. We don’t know if Preston has a lawyer yet, and CNN is trying to get more info from FBI Houston.
