On Wednesday Morning, a crane catches fire at a 45 story building under construction which partially broke and collapsed on to the street. As the long arm of the crane broke, it first smashed several windows of the opposite building and eventually its debris fell on to the streets. Up to 12 people were injured in this terrifying incident.

Reports says that the cause of this fire was hydraulic fluid that leaked onto a hot plate near the engine of the crane. The crane operator tried to extinguish the fire but it overwhelmed, so he got off the crane.
Fire department responded as the five-alarm fire started but the crane broke and partially collapsed. The wounded people are in a non-life-threatening condition. Barriers were put on the building for investigation of the scene and people were suggested to avoid taking roads around the incident area because of excessive smoke from the blaze and traffic delays.
