A bunch of trains crashed in Pennsylvania, and investigators are looking into it. Happened near a river, some cars tipped over, but no one got hurt, and no dangerous stuff spilled. The investigators are checking the train stuff, like signals and operation. The company is cleaning up the mess – some diesel fuel and plastic pellets spilled. They say it’s not dangerous to people, and they’re figuring out how to stop it from happening again.

Last year, there was a big train accident in East Palestine, Ohio. The train carried a dangerous chemical that can catch fire easily. It caused a fire that lasted for days and released harmful gases, killing a lot of fish and making people worried about living there.

Because of the danger, the government told everyone to leave the area. Workers had to burn off the chemical to prevent a bigger explosion, but this created new health problems.

In March 2023, the US government went to court against Norfolk Southern, the company responsible for the train. They said the company broke the law about keeping water clean and wanted money for the damage caused in East Palestine.

Even though the company’s boss, Alan Shaw, had a big accident under his watch, he got more money. His pay increased by 37%, going from $9.8 million to $13.4 million in 2023. The company said they are cleaning up and helping people, but some wonder if they are doing enough.
