Two weeks ago, a 3-year-old boy went missing in Wisconsin. The police are requesting people with cameras to check for a specific car in their footage. The child, Elijah Vue, disappeared on February 20 in Two Rivers. Jesse Vang, who was with the boy’s mother, Katrina Baur, said he noticed Elijah was gone when he woke up from a nap. Baur and Vang were charged with child neglect about a week later, and they have a court hearing on March 7. The police want footage of a beige 1997 Nissan Altima with Wisconsin plates starting with “A” and ending with “0.” The police have the car, and Baur and Vang are not the owners.

The cops mentioned that they’re not interested in the current car owner, just the video taken on February 19, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Law enforcement from Wisconsin and the FBI, Division of Criminal Investigation, and Department of Natural Resources searched rural areas in Manitowoc County on Tuesday, as per the statement.

Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Meinnert said, “A missing child is everyone’s worst nightmare” during a recent press conference.

The police issued an Amber Alert for the toddler, described as having dark blond hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in gray pants, a dark long-sleeve shirt, red and green dinosaur shoes, possibly with a red and white plaid blanket.

A reward of up to $25,000 is now offered for information leading to the child’s discovery or the arrest of those responsible for his disappearance, according to the police department.

Elijah’s aunt, Linda Vue, shared at the press conference, “We’re facing an unimaginable situation with heavy hearts. The pain is beyond words, something no family or child should endure. We can’t express our sorrow or the desperation we feel as each moment passes without news of Elijah’s safety.”
