North America’s Box Office got Movie – “Barbie” by Warner Bros. hit $600 million on September 1 in just 43 days, breaking many records. Trending at rank-14 at box office, it continues to get the hype since the release. Barbie previously set a record for the most grossing movie by Warner Brothers.
The story gained attention and interest of public that plots around the perfect residence and life at Barbie Land. Many of the movie casts have been nominated for the Oscars recently.
Barbie’s success
The movie directed under Greta Gerwig, successfully hit $600 million ranking 14th after top hit movies including –
“Avengers – Endgame” ($858.3M), “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” ($936.6M), “Avatar” ($785.2M), “Spider-Man: No Way Home”($814.1M), “Black Panther” ($700.4M), “Avatar: The Way of Water” ($684M), “Top Gun: Maverick” ($718.7M), “Avengers: Infinity War” ($678.8M), followed by the “Star Wars” series.
Barbie on IMAX
The journey doesn’t end, Barbie is set to be released on IMAX in North America and some other countries on 22 September. The IMAX release holds much more success stories for the movie and gross additions.
