Riley Strain, a 22-year-old student from the University of Missouri, was out with friends in downtown Nashville last Friday night. He left a bar and walked across a street but hasn’t been seen since then.

Nashville authorities are still searching for him after their initial efforts didn’t find him. They’re asking anyone who might know where he is to come forward and help.

Riley is tall, about 6-foot-5, with blue eyes and light brown hair. He was last spotted around 9:52 p.m. on Friday on Gay St. after spending time drinking downtown.

According to a police report, one of Riley’s friends said he vanished after being asked to leave Luke’s 32 Bridge, a bar owned by country singer Luke Bryan.

Riley’s friends tried finding him through Snapchat and calling him but got no response. When they told Riley’s parents, they rushed to Nashville from Springfield, Missouri, to help search for him.

Police used helicopters and searched on foot, including near a riverbank where Riley was last seen on video. They even looked around the area where his phone was last active but found nothing.

Riley’s stepfather described him as outgoing and friendly, someone who can strike up a conversation with anyone.

Luke Bryan, the owner of the bar Riley was last seen at, expressed his concern and asked for information on Riley’s whereabouts.

The University of Missouri stated that Riley was in Nashville for a private event and they’re working with his family and Nashville authorities.

Riley’s family is deeply worried about him, especially since he’s very close to his mom and not being in touch for so long is unusual for him.
