A woman, accused of driving with a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit and causing a fatal crash involving a newlywed couple on their wedding night, was released on bond last Friday. Jamie Lee Komoroski faces charges of reckless homicide and felony DUI resulting in great bodily harm for the incident on April 28 in Folly Beach, South Carolina. She pleaded not guilty and posted a $150,000 bond. Komoroski had previously been denied bond, but her release is now based on an agreement to enter rehabilitation and be supervised by her mother without access to alcohol or a vehicle. The crash led to the death of the bride, Samantha Hutchinson, and injuries to her husband and two others. The police report revealed Komoroski had a blood alcohol content of 0.261%, well above the legal limit of 0.08%.
